How often do you wax your vehicles?

I've given up on washing the car.... My record this summer is 2 days of having a clean car (I'm lucky if I can drive quarter of a mile away from home and keep the car clean). Though I have to wax it once at least.
I was out reintroducing my car to it's rally heritage today on a dirt/mud road testing traction control settings 
The IS gets washed once a week and waxed once a month (religiously on tuesdays). The Supra sits in the garage and gets buffed once every 2 weeks or so, washed once a month, waxed every other. The paint on the Sup needs to be redone and it doesn't move alot so it doesn't collect as much dirt as the DD does.
