Where's the "less than 1 night per week" option?

I mean there are some weeks where I'll drink quite a bit for a few nights, but then other times I won't have a drink for 3 weeks... just depends.

Same with me. I drink when theres fun happening. Don't drink by myself. Could be 5 nights a week. could be a month in between. All depends

That being said, I'd still love to go visit.

would you call me an alcoholic?

trev

I would say yes because you will, if not already, generate a dependency to alcohol to fall asleep. This dependency could lead into serious alcoholism.
Id just be careful man..try and taper off the sauce so you dont depend on it.

In the military, at least at my old base, if you said that you had a beer or two every Friday after work, they would call you an alcoholic. Apparently it is believed that if you develop behaviors with it that it will run your life.
They don't see the amount as a problem - they see the frequency. IE: You have one or two drinks EVERY Friday after work?
I know that alcohol abuse runs amok in the military, but it was pathetic, some of the things that people were sent to substance abuse counseling for.
