I love being underestimated. Nothing like some ricer going 'WTF????' and then popping the hood for them at a gas station and showing them that even a car from the 80's can beat their Civic.
Several of my 'close' friends even laughed at first, until I got it running right. Now one guy in a 383 Camaro(350 bored almost too far) won't even meet me at the strip.

So far i havent been under estimated, I dont ever really talk to the people i 'race' on the road. They usually get spanked and back off and leave, and none of my car buddies own anything except supras.
But every friend thats sat in my car has never underestimated it. One friend even went as far as saying oh cool you have "oh shit handles", referring to the handles on the a pillars:biglaugh: and then proceeded to grab them and say 'oh shit' as I boosted onto a freeway and took a curved on ramp at 80+ :evil2:

Where I live in this small city, my car is also kind looked up to as a god. Especially when they hear it. When I had it in Austin I went for a spin with my buddy and his 5.0 (my car had a bad HG that i didn't know of then) Anyways, I stayed very close to him.. And as for people wanting to race, if they hear my car they usually don't want to, with a HKS, 3" downpipe, HKS hi-flo cat, 3" catback, and plus the HKS SSQ BOV, makes for a scary sound..

i love being underestimated like when my car said 2.0 gt all the mustang guys thought i was mocking them when this punk kid reved at me in his cobra and sneered at me well i was running no exhaust at the time so i revved really loud next to him and also had my rfl at that time all he heard was my turbos spooling and the scooooosh from my bov he tucked his tail and ran he could have probably beaten me but it was fun.

I drove my friends car while he drove mine just so I could hear it from outside the car. I was impressed. Get rid of those restrictive stock manifolds and it has a new tone all together. If its anyone in my area, they dont underestimate the car when they see me. Just cuz they know I always got something up my sleeve.
I might get the occasional asshole in the DSM or Evo that thinks they have a chance and I leave em coughing on fumes. But its expected with the AWD guys. lol

i get underestimated all the time, and its not like i can prove them wrong either, my car is still realy stock. but ill let them be for now, then by the summer time, ill talk some sense into them

not to go off topic but how did u hook up, let alone wire the car to use that propane in the car? did the ECU accept it freely?
CS: I tuned off the fuel in the ECU (zero'd the fuel map) so it's only controlling ignition and run a seperate system for the LPG.
You're looking about $1500 AUD in parts as the Tanks are expensive and my car gets US 28 mpg @ 60 mph on cruise control and LPG is 1/3 the price of Gas.
I got 8.5L/100 KM's 33 mpg imperial and 28 mpg US.
