I tend to lowball myself alot when Im selling stuff. So I want to see what other people would charge for the work Im about to do.

Heres the story:

My cousins headgasket is going out on his Supra so he asked me how much I would charge him to fix it. The shops around here are asking $1200 so I told him Id do it for $600 and thats with one of my spare HG's thrown in. Im also giving him a set of rotors and doing a bunch of other maintenance that was neglected by the previous owner.

On top of that he really needs the car for work so Im doing everything this weekend with the car back on the road sunday (starting friday night).

Im doing all of this and letting him pay me just $100 a month.

None of your fucking business
If he is cool with it, that sounds good! If my cousin had a supra and was in that situation, I'd help him do it for free as long as he buys all the parts. He'd just have to supply me with food, drinks and cocaine. You know the bare necessities(Sp??)

If you knew him you wouldnt do it for free lol. But since he's family I figured I'd cut him a deal (50% plus free parts). Most other family members Taco bell and a few lines of coke would be fine:biglaugh:.

BTW I pretty much set the price to cover Rons FFIM Ive dreamed about ever since highschool.

BTW: YAY! IMMA FORUM ADDICT NOW!

OMFG only 6 counties have the CCB in my area, I'm disgusted.
on the other hand, the whole charging for the HG job and sorta rebuild. He's family so, basicly anything I do for my family I just write it off as a loss.

I know what your'e talking about but I've never been there. I think In n Out is only in California, Nevada, and Arizona. As, for Taco Bell, is the line always a mile long, or is it just where I live? It's like the taco chefs have no sense of urgency.
