Negatory... If that were the case, why is the 2JZ the same way? *more hp than tq* Its the stroke my friend, not the displacement... The 7M is a long stroke, torque monster...

You want to know the "secret" to having a long life motor? Run it rich. Run it 11.0 to one or around that. If you notice toyota makes these cars run in the 10s under boost, and they last for 200k miles. That's how you make them last. Heat is bad.

Really, you can run any amount of power you want, as long as you do the above, it'll live a very long life.

Lag and wheelspin gets old fast. I'm just under 400 rwhp right now and I get the impression that 550 or so with fast spool would be ideal for the street.
