not to bash you dude but i dont think its the cars fault that it keeps breaking. you shouldnt have to do this many repairs within a year if you just do it right the first time. It really is not hard if you use some common sense and dont drive it like an f1 car. Its an auto, your only so fast before you blow it up and thats not that fast.

Stop rushing and racing an engine that isnt broken in. i dont get how you could blow up a fresh rebuild so fast.

learn how to take care and maintain the car and you'll see how an smart $800 job will go farther than $10k

btw, i'll pay the $1k for the shell, i could use a grey interior.

Man I have been busy these past few days, wish I would have seen your post earlier. I'll give u some good advice and u can do with it what you may. As u know I'm also in MI. and would not mind at all helping out a young cat at all.

Let me say first and foremost don't make an emotional decision for example one based on anger, frustration, sadness or any other emotion, for those are the ones u will most regret later on in life. Trust from someone who has been there done that.

Put the ten G's out of your mind it has nothing to do with your MK. Take advantage of the fact u still live at home and u don't have any real expenses like rent, groceries, insurances, kids, pets, wife, alimony, judgements, debt etc. Continue with your 3 jobs put your MK in a garage and slowly get your parts, like 2 or 3 a month. I know of a bone yard near me that has a 89 turbo motor that I'm sure u could get 4 less than 450. Car was rear ended has abour 160k on it and seems rebuildable. TAKE YOUR TIME there is no rush to get back into boyracer mode u have your whole young life for that. After awhile cars appreciate in value, especially the ones they don't make anymore. I guarantee that in 10 short years from now your car will be about 24yrs old and worth more than 10k so long as u don't dog it out. You r in a good position and probably don't even realize it. I think its funny he had the mods in his sig but the motors blown, basically negating the mods being relevant. Its a 92 and its teal but it lacks a targa nad as cool as sunroofs are, TARGA is my fav. you may get 3 or 4 maybe but even rare supra lovers won't give a crap since the motors thrashed. If I were you'd I'd keep it and go 1JZ, then take your turbo off ur old engine bolt it to the 1jz and call it a day.

as far as the guy with the NA, its worth exactly ......zip. Because I like most people wouldn't buy an NA when we can get a turbo. Sorry its the truth and it hurts.
