I would wait on the head work. Save that money to do other mods. At least you're looking into covering fuel so you don't ruin your motor by leaning out.
If I could do it all over again my first mods would have been a wideband and a piggyback fuel computer to monitor and tune my car. Then start modding. This way you'd definately know when it would be time to upgrade your fuel system.

what other mods? i have a wide band, boost controller, and a 255 fuel pump

I agree that the Fuel Rail should do you to 700+Whp You can get a double sized barrel for about $40, cut in half drill/tap everything yourself. Then you've got a spare or you could sell it and make your money back, that's pretty cool.

The people I know are always on about the Lexus 4" throttle body but it depends what you're going to spool, I guess. I know the stock throttle body can go to at least 700-800Whp. That's just what I've been privy to..

The Stock Intake Manifold is something I never/rarely see on a race built Supra of any gen. Oh I've seen stock intakes on race Supras but they are around 400+Whp guys who have modded with brains rather than money to make a faster car. Perhaps it's mostly cosmetic as the Greddy Plenums are very shiny and showy. Those eBay Greddy knockoffs are pretty reasonable too. I mean it's only 1 material, no moving parts, you can't f that up. I know some that were making big numbers (600+) with their stock intakes universally complained of strange air flow behavior at high RPM/boost. At that point I would be much less concerned with power than reliability. That cyl. 2, 3 and 4 weren't always rich. (or vice versa, Just an example)

You've already build the bottom end of the 7M. What did you do to it? (Curiosity only) What Rods and pistons did you go with? Do you have any work-in-progress pics of that? Find any problems? I recommend a NEW Toyota oil pump. $200-ish

You are using a Wideband? Only? Dude at least piggyback some sort of E-Manage. SAFC's are only like $100 now. For what it sounds like you are building you might want to invest in a serious aftermarket ECU. I was using a SAFC and a Wideband for my awesome homemade set up and it wasn't enough to save my engine. It was human error but the build you are investing into really should have some sort of ability to correct for variables.

You said you were getting a dm motorsport kit? What Turbo size have you thought of? They look expensive for that "flashing" service they provide and I don't think they'll be "flashing" your 7M-GTE ECU. All that means is they have a scan tool from VW Audi. VW Audi makes the aftermarket add ons then creates programs at great expense so the new hardware will work with the OEM VW Audi platform. There is no magic VWAudi to Toyota program, VW is known to not communicate in recognizable values, unless they told you different???

Another thing to deter you from buying a kit is they package all the same stuff from China that you could get yourself on eBay for less. You'd be better off buying one of those eBay turbo kits. There are a ton of people on here with step by step of how to put it together, Just saying..... This is your big money saver here, you don't need those guys for some VWAudi turbo with "kit" (lemme guess $4000-ish for a peashooter 1.2" inlet turbo, piping pieces, blue cuffs and gear clamps, maybe some old Audi wastegate, an intercooler that is dwarfed by the stock one for the 7M-GTE, Oh and the VW- Toyota "flashing" service that can't exist) Do you know who needs that?? Only the VWAudi "car" guys. They were duped into a substandard product for racing and they will always be slow. Excellent! Now you can afford a kick-ass Haltech ECU with money left over for a turbo bigger than the stock CT26.

The Brian Crower set is an excellent idea for your head. What does that come with? Buckets, Keepers, Springs, Shims? What are you doing for Valves? New, Old? Have you milled the head already? How much did they take off? Are you going to do any porting? Cams? Sorry for the 20 questions but it's super cool when someone takes the time on a 7M. I didn't get to.

By the way the 3rd guy who posted that the stock stuff would be good to over 1,000,000 was just being facetious to the other poster who immediately said 1000 without another thought or any backup because that's how great Supra's are to that guy. I thought it was pretty funny, I'm sure he didn't mean it derogatorily to you.

the block is bored 20 over crank is turned 10 over on mains and rods, i have je pistons with rings, eagle rods, clevite 77 bearings on mains and rods, block was resurfaced and shaved 20 thousandths off, the head was resurfaced and shaved 14 thousands off no porting or anything special, brian crower springs, stock cams and gears, stock valves, stock intake manifold, stock turbo manifold, stock turbo, stock injectors, front mount with hard pipings and a knock off greddy bov, full exhaust, greddy profec b boost controller, aem ugeo wide band, new oil pump, water pump, timing belt component kit, gates racing belt.

i dont really have anything done that would require a piggyback system, i would like to run bigger injectors and get the maft system for tuning.

if i can get some oney coming in i would love to build a head with brian crower internals like the 272 cams, 1mm over sized valves, and the springs and retainers, im not sure what else is required to build a head if im missing something please inform me.
