Its my understanding that with your setup you will want to follow the TSRM guidelines.

I will be running this set soon as well and have done some reading on this.

Like Grim said, start there. See what happens.

Because you have no control over the stock one.

Biggest reason is looks actually....:naughty:

im at 26 or 25 vac on and low 30's vac off. still in the high 9's at wot

Pretty close here (27 psi vac on). Mid 10's on the AFR at WOT.

FP with the Lex/550 combo is a "global" correction. To get a true tune, you'll need an AFSC or similar.

how much boost jdub?
im hoping my massive exhaust leaks had an affect on my af ratio in open loop, i hate to keep dropping the fuel pressure...

16-18 psi on an SP61...more than that and I hit fuel cut. I'm moving to a completely different set-up though...I feel the same way about dropping FP and this is still pig rich.

The previous owner of my car installed dual walbros and it is set to 50psi. The fuel pressure up VSV line has popped off a couple of times under boost, but I've now clamped it. What's the lowest I could set my pressure to so that it wouldn't be an issue if the fuel pressure did not go up under boost? I imagine 50psi with dual pumps would be hard on the pumps?

Will changing the psi affect my current tune? I have similar mods to the original poster.

How is a FPR supposed to function? Is it one set psi at vacuum, and one set psi at boost, or does it gradually adjust pressure in a linear way based on the vaccuum or boost?

duals is a LOT of fuel, and at 50psi, at 14lbs of boost thats 64psi of fuel. sounds like the tuner or who ever set it for static pressure.:aigo:

AFPR= vacuum decrease/ pressure increase, fuel pressure rises and vice versa.

Adjusting fuel pressure is effectively adjusting your mainscale. It drops it across the board which will mess with your tune. I have ONE walbro at 25 psi of fp and it sits perfectly at 11.8-12.1 afr (back up to 27psi for safety) and NO piggy back or tuner. I imagine the amout of mainscale adjustment that your tuner had to pull was quite large,
**how are you measuring the fp pressure? vac on/off?
