Theres companies that make adapters so that you don't have to hack your harness. Its $200+ for most of them, but I haven't seen a 7M version so you'd have to pay more than that for a custom one.

Hey what happened on your exploder happened on my SUPRA and I ordered a new drivers side door handle which is $80. They even come in colors too!! Don't even get me started on discontinued Ford parts, I owned an 89 SHO....can you say timing belt tensioner?
I'm going back to pick the handle up Monday, and while I'm there I'm going to order twin piston calipers from a previa for my supra. I'll let everyone know how much they are and what the exact part # is.
