How much does the Stock hood weigh?

I need to know because the carbon fiber hood weighs about 14 lbs

is it worth getting a CF hood?

Stock hood is 47lbs IIRC. If I had the extra cash I would get a CF hood, form and function!

looks like you got in a wreck and are too cheap to paint it.. lol.

or you could save a few hundred bucks and take out AC and get rid of more weight, and not sacrifice good looks.

yeah mine is painted black because of the wreck

got hit by a guy on a bicycle haha
long story short we put the car together in a day fender door and roof

still got dents on the part of the hood thats not targa so looks of work ahead need new taillights too cuz the idiot that had the car last silconed them along with the old targettop
you shoulda seen it the inside and outside of the targa was silconed

A/C is good when its 95* and 60% humidity because even the breeze is like a hairdryer when its like that.

CF hoods vary in weight cause some are full carbon, some are dry carbon, some are just cf overlays with fiberglass underlays, shit like that...
