I have shipped several of them. It weighs pretty close to 90-100 pounds packaged if I recall. It's been a while since I shipped one though. Seems like it is about $60-70 bucks to ship. Plus, you really need to protect it when shipping. I usually pack it in a box with good protection, and then put that box inside a large box, and pack cardboard around it. Something that heavy will make it's way through/around all of your packaging. And, movement inside the box will allow it to work it's way out as well. Carriers usually roll large/heavy boxes, rather than picking them up. If you are within 100 miles of it, I'd say go get it.

dave-

i cant figure out if you are shipping it out or having it shipped in. either way, ccx (con-way) has really good pricing on freight. you take it to them and they package it and everything. if it is shipped to NE it is expensive, but anywhere else is reasonable. i shipped a 205lb auto tranny to phoenix for $80.

thanks for the info guys!

FT thx for the packing tips...and Davey I did not know ccx would strap it on a skid; will chk them out. I might be shipping one in if it's worthwhile.. am strongly considering a taller gear.
