Just curious as to what people are paying these days for their fuel - currently in the UK, we're seeing massive price drops on petrol and its like christmas has come early. Last month, i was paying more than £1.04 a litre for 98 Octane Unleaded, and this month, i'm paying only £0.91 a litre!

Prices were:

95 Octane Unleaded: £0.979 a litre / £3.70 a gallon / $6.91 a gallon
98 Octane Unleaded: £1.049 a litre / £3.97 a gallon / $7.41 a gallon

Current prices are:

95 Octane Unleaded: £0.849 a litre / £3.21 a gallon / $5.99 a gallon
98 Octane Unleaded: £0.919 a litre / £3.47 a gallon / $6.48 a gallon

Anyone else enjoying a current price drop? :)

Our octane ratings aren't the same anyways, lol, so a lot of good that does you. ;). EDIT: Kai beat me. ;)

With the US dollar doing so poorly, and all that junk, etc, right now 87 octane is $2.66/US Gallon right now. 92 Octane is about $2.90/US Gallon. Not sure what 94 Octane is going for.

Yeah - i'm kinda glad that the UK doesnt sell anything lower than 95 (91) octane though. Pre 2000 when there was leaded fuel still around there used to be 'Five Star' - which was 104 RON!!!

Lower 'Star' grades (two and three star) were 92 to 96 RON and were phased out in the early 1980's.
