Aluminum skid plates and undertrays are available for many cars, so the material is probably a good choice. I have never seen one for a car like the Supra though.

whats the advantage of undertray/skid plate, im guessing to protect your engine components and other parts..what about cooling ?

funnels the air through the radiator and IC instead of under the car...

stock rocks, water, ect from getting up into the engine bay (it's oftentimes refured to as a "splash guard" to keep water off the belts)

I think, If my supra can have one of polish aluminum, will be cool :biglaugh: . I can pay 300Dlls with a super heavy one.

What do you think?

I have thought about fabricating my own out of aluminium also.

Obviously my car was missing this part when I purchased it, and I have never seen one on another A70. It would be handy to see a picture of an OEM item to help with determining mount points etc.

I've added aluminum braces to my stock undercover. Personally, looking at all the minor scuffs and scratches I don't think I'd like an aluminum undercover.
