And it's the newest one he's ever owned.:icon_razz

Do you not like anything new, because a lot of those cars aren't cheap.

The newest cars I ever owned was the 76 Celica GT which I owned in 80, the 85 IROC which I owned in 90 and the 89 Isuzu Amigo I owned in 92, but the NEWEST of all was the 82 Yamaha Maxim650 I bought in 83.

Ive never owned a brand new car, and the oldest car I owned was the 73 Celica which I owned until this past March.

I mainly look for deals when I buy cars, and new cars are never a "deal". The most expensive car I ever bought was the IROC, I think I paid somewhere around 9k for that. The least expensive running drivable car I ever paid for (a couple of the cars on that list were freebies) was one of my Monte Carlos which I paid $100 for. I've had some screaming deals. The latest was the 89 Supra I paid $600 for and now it runs better than my 86.5

My Supra has been under my father's name since 1989 and still is. Until I move out next year, there's no reason to change it and pay higher insurance...

Do you own the car or is it under your parents name?

My guess is you've owned zero cars, just like me

what culinary arts school did you attend? lol, that civic must be an interesting work, got any more pics of it? engine? parts... i just enjoy admiring people's handi-work :)

I don't have my camera here...but I can list the mods for you. It's got enough grunt to hold its own in a straight line, but it's really modded with autox in mind. It's sneaky, cheap, and effective. The car, swap, and turbo junk tips the scales at under $2000

ZC swap, CRX HF exhaust manifold ultra mega ported :icon_razz, custom turbo adapter, 14B turbo, 2.5" turbo back exhaust with a thrush glasspack and flowmaster muffler, K&N intake, SRT-4 FMIC, al. hardpipes, IG dsm BOV, AEM fuel pressure regulator, walbro 255, supra 440cc injectors, motorola 2.5 bar map sensor.. I use TurboEdit to reflash the ECU. I also have some unknown brand coilovers on the car, a DC strut bar, H&R camber kit, integra short throw shifter, ACT clutch, brembo blank rotors, porterfield pads... I run the black steelie's on the street, CRX Si wheels at the track/autox

most of the turbo stuff is off right now, I sent in my 14b for a rebuild. I have another I could use, but I'm fine being NA for a week or two. Only takes 2 hours to reflash the ECU and swap it back to slow. lol.

Are U Here 2 take My Baby
Two cars, im a late bloomer, i didnt get my licience untill i was 19.No particular reason just wanted to wait. Car 1, 88 honda accord 4dr LXi 5spd.Ran ok for the first 6 months then all hell broke loose. Everything broke except the motor.Car 2 is my supra, i bought it cause car 1 was POS and i needed something more reliable.Blew the motor, put another one in and still doing better than my honda ever was.Still have the honda sittin for insurance purposes. Being 22 doesnt make the supra's insurance exactly cheap, but a second car helps a lot.

2004 Kawasaki 636R
1989 Supra turbo

Still own the Eagle and Supra, bike was wrecked, 300 was sold/traded to pay off debts.
I'm 19 and would own more vehicles but Insurance is what kills me. I'm paying 400+ a month just for the Supra and Eagle.

Here's my history

In order of ownership:
1979 Ford Mustang (2.3L I-4) To drive to collage.
1987 Toyota Supra NA (3.0L I-6) First car after graduating collage. Still own.
1982 Toyota Corolla (1.8L I-4) My sisters collage car after she was done with it.
1987 Toyota Camry (V-6) My mom's old car for my new wife. (Hated to drive this car)
1998 Chevy Tahoe (4WD 350CID V-8) My family car after my first baby. (Lemon-Law'd this vehicle after 3 years. Got all my money back on the Tahoe including interest on the loan except $50 for the lawyer and the cost to change oil)
2001 Ford Excursion (4WD 7.3L V-8 Diesel) The current family car. Used the money from the lemon-law'd Tahoe + $6K. Most expensive vehicle I ever owned. $44K. (Feels like driving a bus)
2003 VW Passat (AWD 2.8L V-6) My wife's new car to run the kids around. (Worst maintenance history, even worse than the Tahoe) Still own.
1988 Toyota 4Runner (4WD V-6) My dad's old vehicle. My current work car.

The only cars that I enjoy driving are the Supra and the VW Passat. AWD is a real nice feature. German interior is the best. The quality is the worst. Things break or needs replacing all the time. The Supra is my favorite car. Its been with me for almost my entire driving life.
