How many of you run a single turbo 1JZ with a stock radiator w/ no problems?

cnewingham, i know man its cool.

I have no oil cooler, the e-fans i found out are actually running off a bad 12v source and were not flowing max rate. No turbo blanket on or anything. I'll looking to take everything apart and get everything ceramic coated or jethot coated. Someone ask if I have the stock underhood heat shield thing, and I do.

I'm going to switch over to the 2jz-gte clutch fan just to see if it does me any better.

Anyone have one?

having a 7m... lol

i never had any issues with with 2jz with fal fans.. on the highway with a/c on full blast the temp would rise a bit when it was like 90-95

No need to switch to a new fan, sounds like your solution is simple. Your E-fans should be on a relay that goes from battery > fuse > relay > E-fans.

Yeah the fans work fine now and my car stays cool with the relay and temp. control knob in the right position. I'm still going to be switching to mechanical fan and shroud though for mere reliability.
