how many of you people changed since you first got onto SM?

I've only met one person on this forum and that's the guy I bought the car from, hah. But I've learned a lot and found a place where you can talk technical about cars and then jump into the meaning of life (and have a civil debate for the most part).

IDK if its just me, but you can read all the threads on this site and still nothing compares to actually going out there and taking the car apart with your own hands. I know I felt 100 times more knowledgable after I rebuilt my head and had done my clutch a few times. This site is an amazing resource, but it has come to my attention that lately we have too many "typing" experts. I have changed since I started coming here. I used to frequent I-Supra and I never got any feedback in the MKIII section. +1 for SM.

I think I have become more patient with people. Alot of people on here get upset pretty quick sometimes and start hollering.........Search noobie!!!!

I know it can get frustrating at times, but everyone was a noobie at one time. I try to be a little more patient and make sure they know to search next time. I usually TRY to answer their question first though.

I also overlook sarcasm and smartass answers here more than I would if someone said it to me in person. I guess because you can't do anything to them over the computer anyways, so you may as well not look like a bitch by crying about something. In person, I would totally handle things differently. May or not make sense. It's late here and I'm pretty sure my brain has went to bed.............lol
