How many miles are on your supra?

Hello all,

I am a super n00bie to the supra's
I bought mine then instantly had to change the head gasket,
It is still in the shop and should be done verry soon,

the car has around 170k, with all records and in general the PO took good care of it,

since I dont know much about these cars, I am kinda curious
how reliable you would consider them,
I plan to just do basic mods, kn filter, hard pipes, full 3" exhaust, bov, yada yada,
but I also plan for this to be my only car,

so yeah how would you rate the supra's reliability,

and how many miles are on your DD supra?

79k miles, but its not my DD, it would be if i didnt live in the snow and ice 5 months of the year.

The only time i was left stranded by my supra was when the hg blew in the first week of ownership, since then it hasnt missed a tick but you have to be meticulous about preventative maintenance.

as of now 107k its my DD i drive it from school to work about 6 miles daily nothing much but yea its a fun DD i havent had any problems after fixing my vacuum leaks

On my 87 turbo I have 144,587 but I have not driven that car in about 5 months and I am rebuilding the engine over winter but once I finish it it will be my DD and the other 87 N/A supra I have has 118,289 on it. Not only that it still has the orginal headgasket on it and it drives great. I drive it in the summer because when it snows around here their is just too much salt on the road.

My 90 turbo has 141,XXX on it. I drive easy, I drive hard, sometimes in the middle. Sometimes I drive it hard when I feel like its running good. Sometimes I run it hard to cause I feel like somethings about to break, and I just want to get it over with.

My 90t was a DD for the time I drove it.
Bought it with ~138,000mi on it, parked it at ~175,000mi.
I put those miles on the car in roughly 18 months collectively, and none of them were easy miles. It's all in keeping up with it.

206k on the chassis godknows how much is on my jdm ge, im guessing atleast 80k on the motor

Looks like I beat everyone here, 267k miles on my chassis and 50kish on my JDM motor.
