HOW MAny fans????

First off im not smart!

88 turbo supra

1. this engine[7mgte] has how many fans?? [4] 1.Clutch Fan, 2.small ones, 1 in front of the condenser ...Correct????

2. the clutch fan turns on just fine!! the fans next to it dont turn on and i only have 1 there

3. the condenser fan doesnt turn maybe this is why my a/c blows hot air

i need some one to tell me wat why when of the FANS

i bought this supra messed up i dunno wat the hell they did to her but she is all wrong

the thermostat housing.... all the sensors i think are in the wrong places can i see a diagram of how they should be please....

Pre-89's only have one aux fan, not two like the post-89s.

Your A/C also likely just needs a recharge. Just because the fan doesn't spin, doesn't mean your A/C won't work at all.

The Clutch fan spins with the engine.

The others go on when triggered, I'm not sure what triggers them though.

the fan in front of your condensor was put on automatic cars.

i did recharge my a/c ...... so good im supposed to have on fan next the clutch fan...when does that on turn on????

the condenser fan doesnt turn on either [ i have mtx btw]

aux fans are operated by the a/c pressure switch, or thermistors in the water housing. When either a certain pressure in the a/c system is reached, or a water temp of 210* (?) I believe. try this link for the online repair manual. has all you need to know

p.s. condenser fan was only on turbo automatic cars as previously stated. yours could have been a swap or installed as additional cooling.
