I usually start it up, let oil pressure rise... then drive off keeping it between 2500-3000rpm shifting normally, no heavy gas or anything.. I don't get on it untill I see the temp at around 180-190f and the oil pressure sitting where it should be at operating temps (2kg/cm2 at 2,000rpm).. I know my engines warm when the oil pressure and coolant are right. Then continue to drive normally, maybe shifting at 4,000rpm. You can tell the tranny is warm by how it shifts aswell, usually 5 minutes of driving gets the trans feeling normal, then again, with Redline mt90 in there it shifts like butter when it's cold...
