Ric said:Theres alot of options in the world Aaron. You can't market your product as the win all setup. If i had a stock twin car, and didn't want big power levels, i'd be all OVER your setup. The beautiful look of a single setup, with equal power levels and reliability of the stock twins (when they dont blowup) without the need for an aftermarket fuel system.
280whp is about on par with a good running stock twin setup at the same boost. I made 292whp on factory boost twins (no boost controller).
bigaaron said:Of course it is not the only option, and probably not the best way to go for everybody, but he didn't ask for your opinion on a T4 turbo kit, he said he likes my setup. You not only want to talk him out of it, but you are severely underestimating the cost and difficulty of putting together a T4 turbo kit. I have built enough turbo kits to know what is involved, in great detail.

Driftmotion's CT26 setup is ideal for someone who is doing a 1J swap because they will already have almost every part needed. Hell, if they have a 3" DP already then they just saved atleast $300 between the 3" turbo elbow and 3" DP. For someone like myself, it will be over a grand in parts, depending on how cheap I get the turbo and DP for. Driftmotion's CT26 conversion is quite beautiful, but not for everyone.
