I have a question about how to fab up a holder/cover for the ashtray compartment. I have seen tons of people pics on here with the ashtray compartment with a plastic piece in there holding their EVC or something similar. Wondering how to make one and how it holds the electronics in there.

Come on guy and gals, out of everyone on this site, a good majority of you have this done....how did you do it? What materials, or fab work had to be done.

dont know if this will help but, i have a safc2 and it kinda fits perfectly so i just pushed it in till its snug. you could find something plastic and cut how big the faceplate is on the evc so it looks clean.
