How far can I go with this?

Hi guys.
I'm in progress of preparation for local drag-racing...

My setup is:
- 7M-GTE with 2mm MHG (about 8.1:1 compression ratio)
- custom turbo very similar to SP61 (GT4082/GT35R compressor in 0.70A/R housing and stg. 5 exhaust wheel)
- 600x280 IC
- 2.5" hardpipes, full 3" exhaust
- standalone

Running best pump gas I can get (98 european rating - about 93 american, I think). Boosting 110KPa with 20* ignition advance @ 11.5:1 AFR...
My current MPH is about 112 for now (according G-tech, sorry no timeslips)... Anyways, I have to make my Supra faster!

Any ideas? What about rising boost till 130KPA? Isn't it too much? How much timing can I run at that boost? 17-18* should be ok? Any ideas?

PS: Yes, I know the only way to do all 100% right is dyno... but I can't dyno-tune my car... Just want to hear experience/opinions of smart guys who built some 300+ hp cars... How much boost/timing have you seen on pump with similar setup? (low CR, 61mm turbo)
PS2: how much rwhp generally MA70 has, running 112MPH with terrible 2.5 60'?

right there is the key. 60' time makes a huge impact on et. 1/10th sec improvement = 2/10th sec improvement in et.

good tires, proper pressure, and proper launch will help you.

It really depends on your tune imo

Are you using someones base maps? If you are those are meant mainly to get you to the dyno. If your tuning it yourself with wide-band and datalog really depends how good you are.

The 7m is a pretty strong engine after you eliminate the 2 big problems (HG and rod bearings). But, no engine is strong against a bad tune.

yeah im sure he's talking total advance. im also pretty sure dynos are hard to come by in the cis.

2 Freshmaker: Yes, I started with base map from AEM forum, but it look too retarded and wasn't making power at all.

2 Freshmaker: Ofcourse it's all about tuning... thats why I'm asking for some tuning tips (I haven't much experience in it)

2 nosechunks: What is initial? I run about 13* at idle (like stock ECU does) and 20* at 110KPa.

Hey man it sounds like your tune is fine. 20* timing is up there and running 11.5 afr's into boost is where you want to be. If your confident w/ your tuning maybe runing a 12.5 afr up until you hit 3-4 pounds of boost then dropping it down to 11.5 to get that spool.

Sounds like what you need is to put the power down to the ground more than anything. W/ that trap speed you should be in the mid 12's. Get your 60' into the sub 2.0's first.
