Around $8/quart depending on where you look for redline MT-90. GM Synchromesh is supposed to be really good for removing notchiness= smoother shifts, it runs about $11/quart though. Worth it on either one IMO

Mine shifts fine. Only gears I have trouble with are 1 and downshifting into 2.

That is really where it is the hardest, the downshift from x gear to 2nd. If it give the car some gas it goes in a little easier sometimes.

So do you guys road race your cars? Seems like it would be difficult trying to downshift into 2nd all the time.

It seems that all gears are rough. Not any grinding, just not smooth. First to second is really tough when its cold.

Man, I thought only my car had that problem.

Seems like all my "symptoms" are just normal then. haha :biglaugh:

mine shifts smooth in all gears...its not quite a honda feel but i wouldn't expect it to be as the r154 is built entirely different and is designed to take far more abuse than a honda tranny. i don't have a problem getting into any gear though.

if you are having a problem getting it into gear and are worried about you should do some reasearch on fluids. they can make a world of difference.
