I'm probably posting this in the wrong section, but I thought general would be better than the completly wrong one.

Anyways..

Tyler (CambellsChunkySoupra) and I are trying to remove his wheel hub but the wheel bearings are giving us trouble. We really need help! So if anyone could give us a step by step run through of it's removal that would be appreciated!

Any help is welcome!

Thank you!!

ok, all this hammer tallk isnt doing shit. do i hit the hub from behind or what? does the bearing and everything just "pop" out? there has got to be something. the TSRM said there is a snap ring in there and i cant seem to get anything out of it. and now its dark. time to kill myself.

I come from a land down under
To pop the Tie rods/ball joints hit the SIDE of the knuckle with a hammer.

If you don't have access to a press it's going to be much easier to drop both knuckles and take them to the local suspension/brake shop and have them press the old ones out and the new ones in shouldn't be more than $30>$40 and will save you a shitload of grief when you slip and trash a bearing or hub.

A press is one of the most basic tools a machine shop will have. They better know.
