Even with my previous cars, I've always done it this way:
-Press the clutch pedal.
-Press gas pedal to somewhere, dunno, 4k, 5k, whatever rpm.
-Release clutch, and quickly, with that same foot (left), press brake pedal.
That's easy. But a friend of mine tells me that it damages the clutch quicker this way, obviously because of the impact when releasing the clutch all of the sudden. He suggests doing this:
With right foot, press brake pedal, AND accelerate. (with the foor horizontally or sortof like that, not in "heal-n-toe" possition), then, slowly release the clutch (SLOWLY!??) till it "grabs".... ya know. He said it's easier on the clutch. I only tried it once, and the car shut off. I tried it at 3k RPM. My car still has an open LSD so I guess it should've been even easier for the car to start it.
What do you guys say?
Oh, and on another note, PLEASE, someone with a 4.30 LSD ... SELL IT TO ME NOW! (Shipping to Miami).
