I dont like most stuff on ebay . I actually got a HKS Super Dragger from a shop that imports clips it was from a jza70 and cost me a total of 250 bucks 150 for the exhaust and 100 to have it installed. Try that.

I would buy very many things from ebay as they are usually fakes and GOOD companys are going bankrupt ( Greddy/Trust ) because of chinese knock offs

You need to specify which end of the price scale the e-bay Mk3 would be built from as there are some nice brand name parts available but they tend NOT to be the cheapest.

As IJ said. There are loads and loads of genuine namebrand parts on ebay. Ebay does not make parts, it is only a sales website.

Why does everyone always say "ebay parts" as if ebay made them. A cheap ass part can be purchased from 1000's of real car part websites also, not just ebay. I see knock off's for sale even at some of the biggest most reputable websites there are.

Like the very first post said, you get what you pay for and even that isn't always true. From past experience, I will NEVER again buy a head gasket from EBay.

Because the vast majority of people on e-Bay want it cheap. And if you search the cheap crap on e-Bay, it's really cheap crap.

Example:

$150 turbocharger...

Not too many of those in legitimate shops, and not any in any shop I would do business with.

As stated time and time again in this thread alone, you get what you pay for.

If you want a cheap shit Supra, buy cheap shit and bolt it onto it. e-Bay has a disproportionate amount of cheap shit...

Many people offer opinions on "ebay" mufflers, but i bet a very small percentage of them ever even had them on there supra.

Ages ago, when i had a NA, i put an ebay muffler on, similar to the one you put on the first page. It may have actually been even cheaper than that one. It sounded real good, and i was very pleased with it. When i converted my car over to turbo, i had no other choice than open DDP, or using that muffler.

I ran that $19.95 muffler for 2 years, and lots of miles. Its sitting in my garage in near perfect condition, and still sounds the same way it did when i put it on the first day.

I've since purchased mufflers, resonators and piping from summit, and have been extremly happy with them.

FWIW: If you search my old videos, i have a few of the muffler on my car, and it driving and spinning around a parking lot and such.
