How do other forums suck so bad?

why is it that clubna-t.com, supraforums, ect. are always having issues with the server not responding...

this can't be an issue only i am having. I have had this issue with a any computer i use, and now that i built my current computer i am sure it is not on my end...do they really just not care enough to keep things running smooth?

I'm more just glad supramania is always working as this is where I spend moat my time. Guess I forgot to include that. So.....that's mode for making supramania a better place.

It really comes down to three things, and most places fall down on at least 2 of these.
1. Get a decent sized pipe for the traffic you have.
2. Get decent hardware.
3. Get people who know what they are doing.

We've got all three - thanks to Mike.

Lots of forums are running without ANY of the above.

thats what i figured but wasn't sure if mike had us running on personal hardware or not. it always amazes me when people try to do things without the right stuff

I bet they are victims of malicious attacks more often than not. Then they lack 1,2,&3 as per Grimjack and at end of the day there reliability goes waaaaay down

I think I've seen it down three times, and all three were for upgrades and lasted about a day iirc.

Meanwhile, SVT Performance, which actually generates a good bit of revenue and doesn't have a single admin (Mike) paying for it, is constantly fucked. GG
