How do I get rid of gunk like this on paint?

what type of gunk is it? bird poo? dried tree sap? paint?

i used wd40 to get rubber marks off of paint. different, but i'll wait to hear what other people say

use like a can of bug and tar remover...you may also be able to use a plastic razor blade but im not sure how safe that is for paint..good for bumpers or glass. i know that bug and tar remover is safe for paint tho. a in conjunction with the remover i have also used a "bug sponge" i had tree sap on my hood and thats how i got it off.

if it is tree sap or dried bird poop use step 1 (paint cleaner) of Meguiars 3 step process then wax as always
