ok i have an 87 supra turbo and max i only boost 5 lbs. how do i or can i up the boost with my stock turbo? i would like to run 8 lbs if i can so any info would be nice thanks.

I'm at 11 psi from a 3" exhaust, test pipe, down pipe, IC piping and IC, no boost controller or anything else..
Of course, autos will see less boost compared to 5 speeds..

make it breathe better...^ intake, exhaust, IC/pipe, elbow. pretty basic knowledge for any turbo car.
or just throw a MBC on it and crank it! youll hit fc then just turn it down...(joke, i do not condone trying this)

I hear they sell boost by the pound at Walmart in the deli case.... or was that bologna....
If you don't know how to turn the boost up on your car then you probably don't know enough about how a turbo works to even BE turning it up.
Go to a book store and find a book called "Street Turbocharging" by Mark Warner. Read it cover to cover... it's a great book and you'll learn alot. This way you'll make less mistakes and avoid costing yourself money.
