I write lyrics out the ass, and Id love to show some off but Im always afraid of my ideas being taken. How can I copyright my music? I do plan to do something with it sometime, not at the moment but sometime in the next few years.

A good cheap way is to photo copy your stuff andmail the originals to your self . That way you have a SEALED letter with a dated post mark to prove when you wrote the song. as long as you dont ever open the letter it is golden and will clearly prove to any judge when and where you created the original
yeah my mom wrote a book and had to do that, the publishing company sent her a disc with the book on it and the book printed out in an envelope that she cant ever open.
