i hope your not reffering to armorall, it has alcohol in it which means if you stop useing armoral it will end up cracking your dash after long term use, the thing with armoral is it will do wonders for a while but if you dont continue to use armoral more and more often the dash will start to dry cus of its need for that alcohol refurbrishing, (we already had a thread on this in the last site before we got hacked)

use something like meguires cus its not alcohol based and you can stop using it without the problem of the dash drying.

i dont mean to say that armoral is gonna turn your dash into charcoal but its not AS good as some other non alcohol based ones.

Meguires is good, also, Turtle wax makes a really nice product you can use on leather, rubber, whatever and it'll actually lock in moisture as opposed to rob it.

dropping about $700 at Toyota.... Time....and by taking the hoses off and cleaning them really good, then cleaning them AGAIN..... and shooting with a high-temp clear, yeah yeah, it'll eventually crack and fall off, but I got a good power washer and plenty more clear.... (or could go 3' hardpipe)

And about the armor-all.... how long is this "study" conducted over? I haven't had any probs, it's probably just from people with new cars jealous because our "old" cars look better than theirs... I don't use armor-all, I get crapp from a detail shop in KY, couldn't tell ya what it's called but it makes it look wet but without the gay-shineyness... I do however think original armor-all is the best thing to use before you sell a car, makes everything look clean

Yea, I restored my Civic with Turtle wax. They make a spray that works on dashes, leather (with UV protector), pretty much anything. Great stuff. Was recommended to me by a professional refurbisher.
