How dark are your windows Pics please

on mine i did 20% all the way around. but on the windshield i did something neat. i did a thick strip of 20% at the top and 50% on the rest of the windshield. you really cant tell its tinted unless you look really close or i tell you. no cop has noticed since ive had it done.

The thing is, I was looking both ways for cars, so I could pull out, and did not see the cyclist coming in my peripheral vision. I feel the tint was a big part of it.

Ya, I know what you mean. It can definitely lower your peripheral perception, but even with 15%, you can still see your surroundings unless it's night time, in which case you should really roll you windows down to drive off the highway if the tint is anything below 30%, IMO.


BRIEF THREAD JACK:

Has anyone had issues with the small black dots causing problems for the tint along the edges of the rear quarter windows? I hate it when there is a ring of very fine bubbles around those windows.

I saw a set of windows on eBay where the guy had used black paint on the inside of the window to fill in between those dots, and then tinted the rest. I think if this was done right, it could look almost perfect.

My buddy's Camaro has 5 on the hatch, I think 10 on the windows and the front is way lighter than that, no numbers. I can see out of them just fine :dunno: His old Avenger had something crazy on it, you literally could NOT ever see in any window other than the front in any kind of lighting condition, and you could only see in the front in the day time. It was okay from the inside out though, I don't really understand that lol.

Untinted on the Supra, going to go with 5 for the hatch, rears and MAYBE the front windows, more likely it'll be 10. Windshield will be somewhere north of that, not sure how light yet.
