i just told someone who worked at the local subway sandwich shop about my car because he asked about it when i pulled up to the parking spot. he said 289rwhp and 295rw tq is WAY low for the stock turbo.
"you should be making almost 500 at the wheels with that thing"
i just paid for my sandwich and walked away.

I had a mechanic tell me that my car was FWD and if I lower it, I'll bottom out on the transmission and smash the case.
I proceeded to tell him that it was RWD and he told me "It must be a custom hack-job. I'll never work on it"

It seems like the people who will argue the most are usually also the stupidest. Once, I was getting a Fiero towed home and the mechanic insisted it was FWD. He told me that RWD has a differential and showed me the one on his truck. The argument degenerated to the point where I just had to call another wrecker.
