Im with my friend and we're at his wifes job at kfc/long john silvers. Shes the manager so we went to get some free food, as we hadn't eaten all day. We pull in and theres another supra there. My friend knows him but doesnt like him b/c he trys to hit on his wife. Anyway me and him are sitting there and one of the guys that works theres ask if my supra is turbo. I said not yet, i said "my turbo is at the krib i dont have enough parts to put it all on yet".

Well about 10-20 seconds go by and he ask, well what do u mean. So i said "i need a fuel system, oil/coolant lines, headgasket, pipes,d/p and everything before i can put it on." He's like oh ok, and i told him i already had the mani, turbo, stock front mount and, bpv.

This is were it gets interesting. He's like dont you mean sidemount intercooler. I said "no, stock front mount. It goes on the front."Then he said "well that supra has dual sidemonts" and i answered it "aint stock then." Then he trys to debate me by sayin "well we use the stock sidemounts from these supras on tsi's." I was like "thats fine and all but its a front mount buddy its at my house."Then i was like you must have it confused wit the 2jz, he said "nah its from the mk3."At this point im like whatever man, i got the damn thing at my house, its damn near bigger than my radiator, and it mounts in the front behind the bumper.

Point of this story is if you dont own a supra,dont try and tell a supra owner what comes on your car excatly. Just dont do it.Silly ricers. I think after he tryed explainin how the piping ran he put his foot in his mouth.So if im wrong please let me know

It's not even a matter of YOUR CAR, the annoying thing is when someone gives you false information that they feel in their heart is true, and they insist that you are wrong.
Like the time someone told me their friend's 240SX had a RB34-DETT engine swapped in. I told him it's a R-34, with a RB26 engine. Well, he swore up and down I was wrong.
Then, 2 years later I deploy to the desert with the guy and rehash on the incident; well, he denies the whole thing, lets on like I was wrong, and then gives me the correct information.

one kid told me if i do a sleepy eye mod off of ebay for 50 bucks, i can get better air flow into my engine:icon_conf . So then i was liek oh you mean this, i turn up and off my headlights quickyl, and hes liek no for the real thing you need to get incar controllers.. and i was like oh, so then you suggest my incar controller doesnt function and i need to spend 50 bucks on ebay... i just walkd away...

I have a question about the whole intercooler thing, how does the intercooler mount on a ga70 with a 1g-gte? Is that like a mk4 because of being a tt? Im sorry asking a question like this but im curious.
