hot engine sputters when started

Hey guys,ive got a 1986.5 na supra,it starts great when cold but when its hot when i start it ,she sputters really bad and i have to hold gas pedal like wide open for several seconds before it smooths out,but then it runs fine,any ideas?Seems like something in the ful system but im not educated on fuel injection so much,any help would be appericated,thanks in advance ,Mike

Mine does the same. It's common. I believe it's from a faulty vsv which is supposed to bump fuel pressure on warm/hot starts to prevent vapor lock. Not a big deal. I just hold a little throttle till it idles smoothly or just drive it.

The FP VSV is located under the intake runners toward the front of the engine. The vac line that connects to it may have come off. The end of the nipple on the VSV isn't knurled. It's just smooth so old/dry vac lines slip off easily.
