Horn Wont Work

Hi, all. I just bought a momo steering wheel to replace my too small trend wheel. The horn wasn't hooked up before, but when I hooked it up to my new wheel, it doesn't work. I am sure I hooked it up right. Anyone have any suggestions?

Use the TSRM electrical diagram and find the wiring to the horn relay. Then jump the relay (I believe you will ground it) to see if the circiuts work from there on. In other words, does the horn work with this proceedure?

Sorry, I forgot to mention the horn goes off when the alarm goes off.

thats a different horn...there is a seperate horn for the alarm up by the cruise control.

Did you hook up the horn contact to the wheel?

Yeah and the ground too.

Short out the wires and see if it honks.

Bumping this to find out what happened...I recently re-installed my horns, and all I hear when I push the button on the wheel is the relay clicking...what gives?

My horn isn't working yet either.... I prefer to use the finger

Ok today driving home from work, it kinda started working, but barely and I had to push on the top of the button for it to work. So I'm thinking it's wiring, I'm gonna pull the center piece off again, and see what's up.

The horn connected to the steering wheel is up front. The one near the firewall is the alarm horn. Have you been able to confirm there is actually an electrical signal going to your horn?

Found out my problem was they were hooked up backwards...Go figure huh?!
