Uhm... Like others have said, you shouldn't be talking so big. Especialy not with numbers like that. I personaly have put up times half a second faster than that. And I'm not even considered fast anymore. There are tons of folks on this board that would whup my car's ass.


However... I daily drive a GSR Teggy. Much better DD than a poopra could ever hope to be. Shit, since starting to drive the teg I've almost not even touched the supra.

You have posted numbers better then that on a TRUE TREADED radial? Dude that was 1 bar on pump gas on radials. Trust me when I tell you your Supra is not doing that on a TRUE Treaded radial. And deff not under 600-650whp.
That car on full boost and 26inch slicks I am sure would have no problem running low 10's all day if not cracking into the 9's.
FWD or not, having an actual power band and alot less weight makes the difference.
I know of 2 MKIII's that have run faster that that . Duane, which I think was actually at 11.2 and was on ET Streets and around 600 ish WHP and Slow66 which did that on a sick auto setup and ET streets also to my recolection.

Point is, it doesnt matter. I dont own it anymore and I have a Supra that will hopefully get close to the potential of that thing. It will just take ALOT more HP because this thing is a landwhale

In my opinion it's all stereotypes, but they are legit.

For example, of all the civics out there, how many push 300+hp? Maybe 0.01%? 0.0001%?

Of all the supras, how many push out 400+hp? 5%? 10%?

And of all the honda's out there.... how many put new rims and a 3' tall spoiler first on their mods list? The first thing a supra owner does is intake+exhaust. The typical honda exhaust upgrade consists of putting a muffler with a 4" tip on a 2" pipe.

Sure there are some honda's that are super built... but the majority of them are rice junk, and in my opinion, the stereotype for honda's is well deserved.

Same goes for the mk3 supra as well. 50+% of them rolling around are rusting junk eyesores that are very poorly maintained. People can talk shit about mk3 supra's all they want, I dont' care. If you're a honda owner (especially a riced up one) then you have to have pretty thick skin because you will take a lot of abuse from people.


by the way, i own a honda tooo.... 2001 insight hybrid... and i hate it LOL ... i'm selling it next month ... but it's done it's job as my dd.... i'll be driving around my supra for a few months and buying a DD at the end of the year when all the best deals come out.

coulda woulda shoulda. I ran in the tens, you ran in the elevens. Don't pretend like you were running tens or nines because you didnt. I coulda done this and that and ran 8s or whatever other BS excuse for not running faster than I did. Just drop it. You ran a time that many on this board could easily beat. No one want's to hear about it being your grandma's birthday so you couldnt get racegas because the second cousin of yours fiddled on the boost gauge. You ran an 11, not a 10 or a 9.

I was well under 600rwhp when I ran my 10. So stop talking out of your ass. It only takes gobs of power to run good times if you dont know WTF you are doing. I saw full boost before 5k and rvved to 9500, Thats not alot of powerband?

You are right, I never ran the times, but I know what the car was capable of. I just didnt push it because I just needed a number on it quick to sell it.

Many on here have run better times? Thats news to me.
Anyway, thanks for the link. that had a bit of good info. I still wish to see these 10 sec supras that are all over the place.

Im not gonna argue cuz i dont have the car to prove it anymore.
