Honda AEM in my Mk3??

Random ass question but I've come across an aem version 1 but its for a 0bd1 Honda..is it possible or worth it to use it? I'm good with wiring and could make a harness but I didn't know if the ignition system would work correctly?!

You will have to wire it up for it. And then just set the ignition and fuel settings for the setup your using.

Yes driftmotion sells a kit that does this. On their site they have only the V2 now. But they have a jumper harness that does the cross over.

I just picked up a V1 for pretty cheap so ill have to see what route ill go thanks guys

Well Aaron doesn't sell the harness for this ecu so how should I go about wiring in the ecu with Honda clips? As far as the ignition system? For spark ill run 2jz coils or single coils of some sort but since there distributor cars how would I run the CPS,igniter and such? Any ideas/info?

It's all configurable in the software.

You can make a pnp harness or just make a whole new harness from scratch.

Can either use the pick ups in the cps or attach a sensor and wheel to the crank pulley.

Cps has a 24 tooth gear for ne pick up you can use that for the crank and 1 of the other ones for the cam.

If it only has 4 spark outputs you will have to run waste spark tho.

Dr. tweak has them I am sure and hvyman is right, its all configurable in the software because Aarons setup is using a honda box
