Homemade UIC pipe.....what do you guys think?

HOMEMADE UIC pipe.....
I had an old Catback 2 1/2" and had no use for it so i found a home for it.....lol

I don't think it looks bad at all...get a piece of 4 ply blue silicone turbo piping and replace that black section though and use T-clamps there as well.
Replace that upper radiator hose while you're at it...lol ;)

:werd: is that radiator pipe even for the supra?!

IMHO I would turn around that pipe, cut about half the bend off, and run it through the snorkel hole. Oh, and BTW, cut off the skinny section of your 3K pipe. That upper hard pipe is kinda pointless with that still there ;).

i would like to know where to get a blue silicone hose i defenatly think that would look good thank you jdub also the radiator hose is getting replaced by a chrome one....:) im also thinking to put a BOV pipe instead of the black hose.....

Is that really functional though? That is a tight 90 degree bend, I am sure it restricts air flow a little bit more than one that has a straight pipe going next to the turbo.

well, there is also thefact that those ones usualyl spend almsot all their time over the turbo and get hot anyway (im talking about the ones that have the m shape in them, closer to factory.

As long as its a mandrel bend there is no restriction of air flow. The inside diameter or ID stays the same therefore, there is no bottleneck to restrict air flow.:icon_bigg
