Why don't you just substitue the engine for a general combustion chamber and just drive the wheels off the turbine at that point?

I <3 the Landcruiser motor.. some local guy use to have a 600hp one, and I think that was my favorite motor and definitely SUV at the time.

Why does it seem like you could make more power with the 2jz wit3h that big of turbo.. All that and you cant put the hood down without holes. Nice either way but weird and dam that turbo is massive.

More displacement would give you a "faster" spool I guess.
