holset turbo's : hy35w and he351cw

ok so i am wanting to learn a little bit on the quick spooling holset turbos hy35w and he351cw turbos. i am in the market for one of these that best fits me, I had a hy35w but had to sell it due to getting money for going standalone and tuning my built 7m. my questions are what are the power ranges i can expect from these 2 turbos? i want 450-500whp range maybe a little bit more without going over the turbos efficiency range. anybody have any info as far as whp and boost range these 2 can produce? i know holsets have been covered many times but i want the facts or if anybody has a dyno sheet of one of these on a 7m i would greatly appreciate it, thanks!

Listed is from the smallest quickest spooling, to the largest slowest spooling Holset:

-Hy35, flows approx 57 lbs/min
-Hx35, flows approx 60.85 lbs/min
-He351cw (Spools faster than the hx35, but makes the same power) flows approx 60.85 lbs/min
-Hx40, flows approx 70.10 lbs/min
-Hx45 (can't find the flow at this time)
-Hx50/52 or 55. flows approx 99.20 lbs/min
-Hx60 (Notice I didn't say HT60), flows approx 125.66 lbs/min
-Hx82, flows approx 198.42 lbs/min

thanks MDC as always the best to come to on the holset topic! So will the hy35 or he351 do 500whp? i am going for 450whp easy but i would like to bump the boost up and see if i can maybe crack 500whp possibly like 520whp at the most, i would say 30psi would be pushing it for the he351 and the hy35 wouldn't it?

also my setup will be running an e85 fuel system, aem standalone, and my 7m is built with all supporting mods might add some cams but not sure yet

I've seen the diesel truck guys make the little hy35 go nuclear and melt them down at 50+psi

wow, i know they last for a long time if taken care of, diesels are running them to like 200k miles and above, its crazy

im thinking on e85 and some turned up boost i can crack 500whp with one of these, not sure ill really need cams but we will see

bump. anybody have any dyno numbers or time slips from 7m's on these 2 turbos?

All depends on the tune and how much boost you run and your motor can handle.

i will have a fully built 7m, fuel system, e85, aem ems, most people say these turbos are only good for 420hp im positive that it can go above that! i was hoping close to 500 to the wheels with higher boost ; they can be ran up to around 30 psi safely. and im only going to use the 9cm. housing which is the smallest so that may be why i wont hit 500

anybody happen to know what the hy35 and he351cw will rev out too? i want to rev to 7k or around that, the more the better, but i want it to where it drops off

Any dyno yet on a hy35 on a supra? Looking at getting 500whp on high boost not sure the 9cm housing can do it or how it will do top end??
