IIRC the flow rate is the same, but at a lower pressure than the walbro

As long as your measuring pressure from the same spot, say the fuel rail, thats isn't possible.

Flow rate is directly proportional to pressure. You can't have a lower pressure and keep the same flow rate in a given tube.

As for the pump, I don't have any experience with it. Looks like a walbro that costs a bit more.

hes saying that they both will flow 255lph, but the holley pump may flow that much at 50psi and the walbro will flow that much at say 70 psi.

Flow doesnt change based on point of measure. Pressure is resistance, Flow is amount moved, it is possible to flow the same amount at different pressures, as it is possible to have the same pressure at different flow rates.

Holley might flow 255lph at 50psi where the walbro flows 255lph at 70psi. or the walbro will flow 300lph at 50psi and the holley will flow 200 at 70psi.

witch means the walbro flows more at the same pressure, walbro just measures the flow rating at a higher resistance.

i see what your saying about bieng in the same size tube, but they dont test pumps in the same size tube because like you said you cant change flow without pressure in the same size tube. if they did every pump would flow the same amount at the same pressure.

Ah, there was some mis-communication on my part then. I thought he was saying that in a supra, the 2 pumps would have different pressures with the same flow rate. He was saying they are tested and measured differently.

keep in mind the stock MKIV pump and the walbro flow about the same, until you start pushing the pressure up...

this was tested in a magazine not too long ago, all pumps are not created equal, and they often times have the same rating...

The pump is made by Walbro for Holley. I don't think it is any different than the $90 Walbros you can find on ebay, just says Holley on the box and "Made by Walbro" on the pump.
