The Megans are the best investment I have made for car that made a big difference right away. I will be track testing them soon when I start autocrossing. The high spring rate does not affect the ride at all in our heavy car. I dont even find it necessary to set my shocks to the softest setting. I actually have them in ~the middle. Also if you go with the K-sport, dont make that decision based on the advertisement picture with the camber adjustment. It's a generic picture, the one for the supra would not have that adjustable mount. Hope that helps

I dont reccomend the megans. I dont know if my set is weird or what, but my fronts are way soggier than the rears. If i go over a speedbump strait on, the front will bounce up and then down really hard, if i do the same speed over the rear it will just hop over the bump. Anyways, i have to set the front struts to full stiff and the rears to full soft to get it to actually handle decently and not slide out like crazy. You also cannot lower the rears very far with these so beware.

It's just yours being soggy in the front I think, mine are stiff all around, no bouncing. As for the rears not going low enough: I encountered the same problem, it is doable by removing the two locking rings, and letting the coil just sit on the big beefy o ring. This way you are able to get another .5 - 1 inch out of them for lowness.

Spring rates are very important. I sold my Tein SS because they were very stiff. Don't ignore spring rates and end up with a bone-jarring ride, unless you want that.

Stock = soft (Approx: Front 8kg/mm, rear 4.5kg/mm)
Tein Flex = firm (Front 12kg/mm, rear 6kg/mm)
Tein SS = stiff (Front 16kg/mm, rear 9kg/mm) (TWICE as stiff as stock)
Megans = brutally stiff (18kg/mm front, 14kg/mm rear!!)

^ Yup very important. My HA's are have the same rates like the Flex's and they are just about perfect for street use and mild track. My my new coils will have a 14k front and depending on how the rear feel with 10k (what it comes with) I might put in 12k.

low does not = good just looks good..

Get some 18's with 40 series tires and it will raise your car fill the wheel well and you don't have to scrape everything you go over.

Spring rates aren't what really determine ride quality. The damper has a much greater effect on that. I run 1000lb/in front spring and 600lb/in rear springs and it rides very nice because of the valving I run on the dampers. So you can get away with stiffer rates and still have a good ride and all the control you need for the suspension.
