I recently bought an HKS type 1 turbo timer off one of my buddys and after looking at how to install it I am having some trouble figuring out where i need to splice for vehicle speed and engine speed. does anybody know where these wires are located and what colors they are? Also what is the best location to splice into the E-brake switch wire? I do have the plug and play harness so power and ground to the TT are ready to go.

Thanks for the help

Speed Sensor and RPM sensor are located on the ecu plugs. Ill scan pics of my instruction manual. Use crimpers dont cut the wires my HKS Type 1 came with these crimper thingies. The E Brake wire is located under the center console you can get to it if you pull and feel for it its a black wire.

Pull the cover off your e-brake. You can splice into the wire right where it connects to the e-brake, and put your cover back on to hide it.

Why do you need a sped sensor or rpm sensor when you have a speedo and tach? Skip those wire, and use the TT as a TT. The 1/4 mile feature will not be accurate anyway.

as i said the ebrake is already wired up and the TT works. I want to know which wires need to be spliced for rpm and speed so that i can use the auto TT function. I dont really care if anyone thinks its a waste of time.

again thanks for any help

Brown Wire is RPM Signal
Blue Wire is Speed Sensor Signal

Youll either crimp them (What i did) didnt want to cut my ECU wires, or do whatever you feel works best.
