Grey and brown = E brake (Known)
Black/brown = Ground (Known)
Brown/green = ? (it functioned without fine...)

My next question is where is a good ground, and how should I go about making sure its a reliable ground?

Im sure a twist and put the bolt back on method isnt the greatest.

And where is the BEST ground?

I know thats very broad.

This thread doesn't need any you don't need a turbo timer comments, because I do want one, and have one.

Thanks!

Kyle, the ground I use is the one on the steering column. There is probably alread a wiring harness ground on one of the bolts. You can use that one. The brown wire is supposed to go to an RPM signal (but is optional). The gray wire goes to the parking brake.

Ok so it was hooked up just fine. I do believe it was just a grounding problem.

Next when I feel like it, Its time to get in there and do some more work. Find a suitable ground and make it sturdy.

The bolt on the bottom of the driver's side kick panel fuse box is an excellent ground.

do you have the plug and play harness.... its like 15 bucks, then i just used the ground on the metal brace for the dash board.

i think you have a bigger problem than that, the turbo timer ground is just for the turbo timer, your car should start even if your turbo timer is not hooked up.... at least im pretty sure the wires are Tapped into the ignition wires not cut and re-routed, also the ground really does not need much, almost any metal in the car will work, the turbo timer itself may have the problem.

edit: you don't need one :biglaugh:

Well the thing is, the car starts fine without it plugged in!

I drove it twice tonight and not one problem.

I do have the plug and play harness.

Maybe the timer itself is shot.
