What manifold are you talking about?

Four digit HP? I'm not looking for that much assuming you mean 1000+....

A twin set up that is parallel increases lag. But if you have two large turbos and nitrous you could hit a grand. I don't know why else they would be used. Aside from the mention of "rare".

More lag? WAT? :p why wouldn't you run the turbos sequential like the MKIV or the RX-7 R1, Then you would have LESS lag then a big single setup. I really think people don't give small turbos enough credit... IMHO Two small~middle size turbos run in a sequential manner would win a race against a car running the same HP with a single because of the time it takes that bigger turbo to get going. (then again I'm not talking about drag :p I'm talking about something with turns and a need to use the brakes mid run lol)

Because sequential is hard and expensive to setup/tune. Modern turbos are head leaps and bounds better than those old setups. Ball bearings, variable veins, anti-surge housings...

My attention is always focused on heat buildup, hell i get nervous on hot days just with the CT, let alone two turbos under the hood making substantial power. I feel that is the real disadvantage to a twin setup; heat buildup.

True, But theres always heat shielding and turbo blankets etc, etc. for every problem there is a solution my friend :D

And poodles I wasn't thinking about cost, just the overall setup itself :p If we want to talk about the money, well hell, we own the wrong cars :p (besides it's not a bad thing to have a long-term plan for your car)
