A lot of people will try and put the blame on a component failing before they actually admit they or something they did was the problem. HKS bead type is an equivelant to the Cometic. Many people have had Cometic failures due to a problem with one of the rivets being on the sealing surfaces. If that is the case you just need to pull that rivet and all is happy. They have done an update on the design and moved the rivet but from what I hear there seems to be some old design ones out there.
I've got a cometic on my car, as well as one of my buddy's, and his dad's, and his mom's (they were the ones who initially gave me the Supra bug...can you tell? :icon_razz). All 4 cars are running strong, no HG failures after the cometic has gone in.
