Alright guys, I'm brand new to the supra world. Bought the car not running (bad turbo), vacuum lines are a mess, wiring is fairly bad. I had a couple weeks to work on sorting out some things while the turbo (ct26 w/60-1 12 degree backcut) was getting rebuild, which was good
. I just fired it up for the first time tonight and I have a high idle. 1500 rpms. I'm used to mustangs, with high idle you adjust the tps and I will drop, also very little vacuum. When I adjusted the tps, the idle stayed the same at 1500 but the rpms would dive to around 1000 then go right back to 1500 over and over and over. I'm very anxious to drive the car but will not until I know everything is right. Any suggestions?
