Im seeing high exhaust temps now that im running more boost. was wondering if you can run more the 10 degrees of timing advance to help cool the cylinders. thanks everyone
Run closer to 10.5:1 and your temps will go down. You dont' have to go as low as Toyota stock levels of 9.7:1. You could have too much ignition timing as you have indicated if you scaled the airflow meter (raised boost cut).
stock turbo running 13psi stock ecu the probe is 1 inch from the head on number 6 cylinder. so it could be around 1500-1600 by the time it gets to the turbo. does that sound safe? thanks for your help
