High EGT's how much timing advance can you run on a stock 7mgte? more then 10?

Im seeing high exhaust temps now that im running more boost. was wondering if you can run more the 10 degrees of timing advance to help cool the cylinders. thanks everyone

Run closer to 10.5:1 and your temps will go down. You dont' have to go as low as Toyota stock levels of 9.7:1. You could have too much ignition timing as you have indicated if you scaled the airflow meter (raised boost cut).

More advance cools egts. What kind of boost pressure are you running? What turbo? What ems?

I see 1550-1600 at the inlet of the turbine housing on my car at 20psi t70 and IMO very safe (retarded) ignition timing.

stock turbo running 13psi stock ecu the probe is 1 inch from the head on number 6 cylinder. so it could be around 1500-1600 by the time it gets to the turbo. does that sound safe? thanks for your help
